Janet, Stephi and I attended the Waves of Inspiration / Legacy of Moog event at the Museum of Making Music on Saturday night. We were waiting to meet Keith Emerson when we ran into Dave Smart. I remembered Dave as the only person I know who has both an Analogue Systems Bode Frequency shifter and also an original Bode Frequency Shifter.
Dave plays keyboards in an ELP cover band, Brain Salad.
Dave is the proud owner of two large Moog modular synths (a 3C & System 55). Janet and I stopped by his house on Sunday to see and hear his beautiful Moog synths. They are as you would expect - spectacular!

The WMD Geiger Counter in eurorack has finally arrived! This is a simple squarewave drone from a Cwejman VCO-6. We are sequencing the wavetables of the Geiger with an Analogue Systems rs200. Partway through we add in another sequencer row modulating the sample rate which has an attenuator. Awesome!

Here are a few combination presets from the new and super awesome sounding Dave Smith Tetra. The Tetra is an analog 4-voice synthesizer with great features like multiple envelopes, LFOs, sequencers an analog resonant filter and more. All this awesomeness in this little package too. The Tetra sounds great. Especially for the money!

For a limited time you can save $50 on any in-stock Diabolical Devices drum machine and circuit-bent SK-1's or SK-5's! This includes the modified 707's, 727's, and 505's. All of these items can still be used as originally intended and all of the mods or bends can be switched off.
Don't miss out on these good deals! Find the fuzz here.
"This is a fun setup. The rim trigger out of the 707 is clocking the 101's sequencer which is cool because you can alter the pattern rhythm very easily. These modded 707's are great for tweaking on the fly. You can turn all the pitch mods on and off on the right and control their pitches with the bottom row of knobs. There are a few global bends on left which are fun too. The Matter Disorganizer is a brutally massive fuzz with an octave up. Between the Matter Disorganizer and the awesome filter on the 101 you can get some crazy sounds. "
